Well I'm not starting out to well with this whole blogging thing. I am way behind. The summer flew by so fast and now we are heading into fall. I will be posting pictures from our summer trips to the lake and Virginia.
Williamsburg, Va. was amazing. I am a history buff to begin with but it this trip was like a living history lesson. I generally like Old South history, this was Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown. It is truly amazing what our fore fathers did for freedom. The Jamestown settlement. WOW! I've always thought it would be fun to do Survivor, but those folks lived and died trying to establish a new country. Did you know that Pochahantas was only in her 20's when she died? I didn't. She had an amazing life but Disney wasn't even close.
